Location Scout, The Cedars Hahndorf

I’m incredibly excited to be shooting a wedding this weekend at this amazing location…It comes with such history, a property where so much Australian art was created and nurtured. The Cedars was the home and studio of Sir Hans Heysen, one of Australia’s most celebrated artists. The property still retains it’s charm and simplicity and is used by many artists today as a canvas for their work. Walking around here is such a treat, with many installations scattered about the vast landscape and also little intimate locations tucked away amongst the trees, just perfect for a bride and groom to explore (with their trusty photographer not far behind).

The Governor

This image has been doing the rounds on other social media so I thought I’d better add it to my blog…This delightful man is the Governor of South Australia, the Honourable Hieu Van Le. I was fortunate enough to spend a little time with him last week and managed to capture an image that I think sums him up perfectly. Such a kind soul with a great history and a deep love for this country, a man who also likes a laugh. A man of the people.  DSC_5730webwww.bradgriffin.com
