Fun in the Forest

It’s one of my favourite places to go with my boys. Kuitpo Forest in the Adelaide Hills is acres and acres of adventure. Endless tracks wind their way through the darkened forest leading to new finds each time we’re there. Secret huts built amongst the pines, puddles to splash through and the occasional Kangaroo make it the perfect place to let off some steam and get the kids out of the house…Grab the bikes, pack a sandwich, make a day of it!

Autumn In The Hills 2020.

Adelaide Hills 2020…It’s going to be hard to forget this autumn.

At a time of year when the masses normally descend on the region wrapped in scarves to sample wine, drink coffee, and find the perfect flame red background for a selfie…the streets have been deserted.  The wineries closed, coffee shops empty and who knows what’s happened to that chestnut guy in Stirling? The global pandemic has meant the showing off the Adelaide Hills does in autumn has gone largely unnoticed.

So I feel it’s up to me to document the beauty of the hills this season to share with those that didn’t have the pleasure of walking amongst the colour.
