I had the pleasure of shooting the Daniel O’Connell Pub for Delicious Magazine this week. This is a bar and restaurant with such rich character and personality, and a warmth that is sadly missing from many of the contemporary bars of today. While the building itself is steeped in tradition, the team behind the menu are certainly not dwelling on the past, with an innovative approach to pub food and a “nose to tail philosophy” which means less schnitzels and more Ox Tongue. I highly recommend a trip down Tynte St for this one.
